Still trying to get use to the writing and ergonomics and wish they made a surface keyboard with a recharge slot for the regular surface device as they did for the surface pro x but I usually keep up with my tech! Just so happy to have a reliable and rechargeable pen for my surface. I use this as my main pen for my surface pro 5 lte. The beautiful thing that I love about this new iteration of the pen.no aaaa batteries needed! Yes! Just put it in the included rechargeable tray, plug it into a usb c cable and adapter, let it charge for a few minutes and you are good to go! I am so glad I forced myself to try something new. The writing is soooo much smoother than the original surface pen. But as the old saying goes, 'don't knock something until you try it' and boy am I glad I tried the new slim pen. I thought it was ergonomically weird to adjust to and write with and would not be as smooth. When the slim pen was released, I didn't think it would surpass the original surface pen.
